number of different athletic based programs available to teams and as
personal training as well. We also offer one of the most well rounded and
experienced sport and athletic training teams in the Hamilton, ON area.

Winter Soccer Program

If you are looking for an advantage on the soccer pitch for next season, our soccer sport specific program is for you. Under the close supervision of the Steel City CrossFit personal trainers, athletes will be given specific “dryland training” exercises to increase over all fitness, balance, coordination and strength. This sport specific Hamilton program will improve the athlete’s strength, power, quickness, agility, running stride, conditioning, injury prevention, confidence and also provide performance nutritional information. Yoga Program

Steel City CrossFit Yoga involves synchronizing breathing with progressive series of postures. This type of Yoga creates intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. Women’s Core Program

This women’s only program aims to improve stabilisation and support to the spine. This is achieved by re-training specific trunk muscles, which may be under used. Once these stabilising muscles have been re-trained the muscles of the arms and legs will have a more stable base to work from. This allows you to carry out arm and leg movements with more control and is thought to improve the quality of your movement.

Summer Hockey Program

| This dryland trainin Hamilton program has been specifically designed for serious and soon to be serious hockey players looking to bring their game to the next level. The Steel City CrossFit staff will assist you to improve your skating stride and mobility, shot power, checking and physical play, shooting passing accuracy and awareness, conditioning, confidence, injury prevention and also provide performance nutritional information. This dryland program also offers goalie specific training to address the demands of this unique position. |

From beginners to elite athletes, Steel City CrossFits sport specific Hamilton programming has been proven to improve an individual’s reaction time, speed, agility, quickness and footwork. Kid’s Sport’s Camp

Steel City CrossFit Kids Summer Sports Camp provides safe, positive athletic programs that emphasize critical lessons in sports and life, such as sportsmanship, teamwork, winning and losing. An emphasis will be placed on providing healthy and active lifestyle choices while helping to develop and build the skills and confidence of kids aged 6-13. This is the perfect program for parent looking to keep their kids active this summer whilst learning new skills.

The Evolution Golf Program
Our Golf Hamilton program consists of 4 semesters, with each semester 8 weeks in duration. You will learn in a small group setting, consisting of 4 persons maximum. Feel free to build your own pod of four, or we can pair you up with others of complimentary ability and goals.
A thorough improvement plan should cover at least 6 factors, which are: 1. Basic Instruction, 2. Advanced Instruction (shot-making), 3. Physcial Conditioning, 4. Equipment Fitting, 5. Course Management and 6. Mental Conditioning. By enrolling in the Evolution Golf program, you will cover each aspect that is critical to your development. As well as regular weekly guidance from your coach, Jim Zwolak, the program is supervised by Dr. Sean Fletch, BSc, DC, DAc, MGFI. Dr. Fletch is a leader in Canada for sport specific coaching and biomechanics, and was the first professional to use 3-Dimensional swing analysis.
