The CrossFit Games are here!

It’s that time of year again, so you’d better register before it’s too late!

The first workout will be announced Wednesday February 22nd, 2012.  After it is announced, you will have until 5 pm the following Sunday to submit your score to the CrossFit Games website.

To get your score validated by us you must perform your workout in front of one of our instructors.  Remember, strict movement standards will be enforced.

The Open workouts will be posted on the Challenge of the Month board every Wednesday during the competition.

Schedule Update

As of Tuesday, December 27, 2011, Steel City CrossFit, Hamilton will no longer be offering our Wednesday 7 pm Bootcamp class.

Holiday Hours

Happy holidays merry CrossFitters!!

Classes will be scheduled as normal this holiday season with the following exceptions:

Sunday December 25 – Closed

Monday December 26 – 10 am CrossFit class

Sunday January 1 – No classes, but Phoenix Fitness is open 9 am – 5 pm

 

Spinning Classes Are Now Included With Our Unlimited Membership!

Are you looking for a little long slow distance cardio training to keep active on your recovery days?

How about interval training to help improve your cycling VO2 max, lactate threshold and anaerobic recovery?

Spinning can provide both of those options for you, and will complement your high intensity CrossFit training, so we’ve made spinning classes available with our Unlimited Membership Package.

This also gives you full access to Phoenix Fitness, including our yoga classes, which are a great way to keep up your mobility, and are CrossFit approved.

Schedule Changes

As of November 6 there will be a few changes to Steel City CrossFit’s schedule:

Mondays at 7 pm we will now be offering a class dedicated to Olympic lifting and kettlebell work.

Wednesdays at 7 pm we will now be offering another bootcamp class.

We will no longer be offering 12:15 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
